of Bodmin Moor itself with all its fine walks, leaving out the
trips to Wadebridge, Padstow, Polzeath and Bude
The
location of these dog friendly cottages makes them ideal for
those wishing to enjoy rural country cottages, away from all
the hustle and bustle of coastal resorts. Each of these self
catering cottages are set in their own
private and gated gardens, and set in a wooded valley with running
stream and waterfalls, overall an ideal location for your stay when visiting Cornwall.
Bodmin Moor, with its vast expanse of open spaces
and mile upon mile of dog walking is right on the doorstep,
and the many beaches of the north and south coasts are a
relatively short distance away. Some of these beaches are dog
friendly throughout the year. In fact, within about one hours
drive there are in the region of at least 20 dog
friendly beaches where pet dogs are welcome.
Darrynane
is a family run business, and is the home of Angela and David
Clark and family, along with their two friendly pet dogs,
MarsBar and Pebbles. Extending to well over twenty four acres,
Darrynane even has it's own large quarry lake stocked with
brown and rainbow trout where guests who have the requisite
license can fish for free on a catch and release basis.
There
is much to do around and about, enough to keep you busy for a
week or two without being able to fit everything in. On the
other hand, you may just want to do nothing except sit in the
garden and watch wildlife. Either way there is plenty of room
here for everyone.
All
cottages have electric heating, wood-burners and TV with DVD
players. The cost of electricity and wood is inclusive in the
price.
